Corporate social responsibility

The Moodie Report is committed to a policy of championing corporate social responsibility.

We believe that all businesses – big and small – should commit significant investment and efforts towards helping society’s underprivileged and to making the world a better place for all of its citizens, regardless of race, religion or economic status.

As a result of this policy The Moodie Report donates a significant and growing percentage of profits to a variety of causes. Our particular focus is our official charity The Smile Train, the world’s leading cleft surgery programme, which last year offered free cleft surgery to 42,000 children in over 60 countries. It costs just US$250 and takes only 45 minutes to change a child’s life – and that of their families – beyond comprehension. We are also taking a lead role in Hand in Hand for Haiti, the travel retail project to help the reconstruction of earthquake-ravaged Haiti, with a particular focus on helping to build new educational facilities for the very young.

Other organisations The Moodie Report has supported in recent years include:

Alpha Asia Tsunami Appeal
Cancer Research UK
Cheshire Academy
Children With Leukaemia
Fulcrum Challenge
Freddie McGuire Trust
Hand in Hand for Haiti Motor Neurone Disease Association
MS Society
Seeing is Believing (Dubai Duty Free)
